KILCHOMAN is a new distillery that was added to the island of Isla after 124 years. KILCHOMAN, a family-run farm distillery that produces the entire process in the most traditional way, produces single malt whiskey of excellent quality. We grow barley in our own barley fields and ferment the barley for at least 100 hours to create a liquid with richer fruity and floral aromas. We use first-fill casks and always source casks from the same source and manage them thoroughly. The traditional Dungey method, which stacks casks up to three levels and leaves everything to nature, is not preferred in terms of cost or management, but KILCHOMAN sticks to this method because quality is a priority. As the only Isla independent distillery that is not affiliated with a liquor company, we present differentiated whiskeys by introducing new cask-aged or finished limited edition products twice a year.
