G-Shock (Gravitational Shock) is a brand of watches manufactured by Casio, which is designed to resist mechanical shocks and vibrations. They are primarily designed for sports, military and outdoor-oriented activities. G-SHOCK watches have a distinct style, and nearly all have some kind of stopwatch feature, countdown time, and light and water resistance.

Since 1983, G-Shock has been setting the standards in toughness. Shock-resistant construction stands up to dropping and other rough treatment plus 200m water resistance.

The MTG-B2000, which has evolved the METAL design and achieved weight reduction by adopting a new shock-resistant structure, has been released. This model utilizes carbon material in addition to metal and resin to complete a carbon monocoque with an integrated structure without play. In the case of the carbon monocoque, we developed a new "dual core guard structure" that protects the module and covers the exterior with metal parts, pursuing a more advanced shock-resistant structure.
In addition, the BAND structure adopts a new "new layer composite BAND" that integrates FINE resin parts paired with metal parts of a new structure, and has succeeded in reducing the weight by 15% compared to the existing model while improving the texture of the metal.
In addition, the metal frame is equipped with a double slide lever structure, making it a new design that allows for easier band replacement.
In terms of design, the side of the case is made of metal, realizing more sophisticated functionality and beauty at the same time. By making the METAL frame and bezel separate, it is possible to create impactful colors. By applying mirror finishing to the metal parts that make up the exterior, we pursued the beauty of perfection, which is the essence of the watch. The side buttons also adopted a guardless structure without protection, contributing not only to visual three-dimensionality but also to a feeling of operation. In addition, the adoption of highly transparent non-reflective sapphire glass and the delicate designs engraved on the indexes and function dials using fine processing technology from the Casio Yamagata factory further enhance the texture of the MTG-B2000.
In terms of functionality, it supports time correction by Bluetooth® connection. This is a new method that connects to the smartphone link dedicated application "G-SHOCK Connected" using the Bluetooth® communication function and corrects the time without pressing a button when the smartphone is nearby. It acquires time information from a time server on the Internet and automatically adjusts it to local time even when moving across time zones. In addition, it is equipped with multi-BAND6 that corresponds to the standard radio waves of six countries around the world, and automatically adjusts the time even without connecting to a smartphone in that region, allowing accurate time display around the world. In addition, it is equipped with practical functions such as basic body functions, high-brightness LED light, dual time and stopwatch, and these functions can be stably driven by Casio's unique solar power generation system "Tough Solar".
